Come and see us at the Bluegrass farmers market on Saturday! It’s going to be 80 degrees! Located in Hamburg in the parking lot of Liquor Barn. (Conveniently close to a Chick-fil-A 😉)

It’s a good morning when you have all three ovens going by 5:15!

For Easter weekend I’m going to have a more limited menu but with things I think people would like for the Easter celebrations!

We opened orders early this season, but now is go time! This season our fields won’t be bare, the prices will stay the same and the produce will be extraordinary. I’m going to focus more on canning and stocking your pantry for the winter months.

Our economy is in a state of uncertainty. We see utility costs rising, prices rising at the gas pumps and your favorite pantry items have also gotten an increase. One thing that is very certain; the relationships you have with the farmers in your community can provide you with a safety net. Farmers live a life through a crystal ball. We plan our growing seasons a year in advance; we have to always be one step ahead for our subscribers and our community. Farmers have provided in the past, present and will in the future; I will always bet in favor of the men and women committed to agriculture.

Commit to our farm this season while shares are available! I’ve had tons of calls and emails with questions; it’s exciting for our farm. I plan to go live this week to address some of the frequent questions and give a run down of the season.

This week will have a limited menu as we are enjoying a “staycation” for spring break. There will be no Thursday pickup but we will be at Malone’s on Tates Creek on Saturday from 11-12.
