Adam working on his instrument rating, at night! KLEX was kind enough to let us fly the RNAV 27 with our speed demon of a helicopter (30kt gs) lol. We flew right over downtown Lexington. Shoutout to the awesome controllers at KLEX!

Off airport landings are one of the most fun things to do in a helicopter. With power lines in front, a barn behind, and tall trees on the side, this landing spot required a careful and precise approach, which our students learn to do.
