This big boy is almost 17hh and a true gentle giant. He is unraced do to just being to slow and not making "the cut". He was in serious racing training and breezing regularly now has been turned out in a paddock for almost three weeks. Is super friendly and loves attention. This gelding does have a tie back. Would make for a great all around horse for someone that wanted to give him the attention he deserves. We took him out and he jumped some xc fences, went up and down a small bank, over the ditch and through the water. Super brave and loved every minute of it. Just received great news! Freeport Bay "Porter" competed in his first beginner novice at the CDCTA fall horse trial. Emily Beshear, a very experienced advanced and Rolex rider was his pilot to success. Emily is the trainer for Porter and his new owner that bought him from Lexington Ky in late August. A thoroughbred that was pulled out of a 2,500 claiming race at Beulah Park in April as an eventing prospect, he now has a bright future in Virginia.
