The Distracted Alchemist Exotics

I’ve raised this girl since she was a 97g baby and now she is a first time momma of 5 beautiful eggs. Her name is Cinderella she is a Enchi Calico possible Pastel and she was paired to Olaf our Enchi Banana male. Excited to see what she’s got brewing for us in 2 months!

Our second bioactive enclosure is finished completing the first shelf in our bedroom. This one is a lot more automated and secured compared to the crested gecko enclosure. Both enclosures are 18x18x24 exo terra pros. This one has a exo terra monsoon nano to make it rain once or twice a week depending on how quickly the soil dries out. A mini fan that runs during the day to circulate the air. A mini ceramic heater for the basking spot, a shade dweller Arcadia UV light, and last but not least an exo terra ultra sonic fogger to give a morning dew to boost the humidity in the morning. The clean up crew consist of powder orange isopods and springtails. Next week the occupant of this enclosure will be here so that only gives me about a week for the plants to get established before he gets here. I’m beyond stoked for the new arrival and I’m even more excited to build two more enclosures for this shelf because so far it looks AMAZING!!!

Today is the day we put the geckos in there new home it was such a fun project to work on with my wife. Hopefully they are going to love this major upgrade! Today is also the day I finalized the next animal we are going to be bringing home and I am BEYOND excited to get it! The good photos are courtesy of my wife.

Our first full bioactive enclosure turned out spectacular for our crested geckos! We are building another one this week wonder what we will be putting in it?

We have a very friendly leopard gecko looking for a new home. We are pretty sure it is a male eating very well on meal worms and super worms. We are asking 25 dollars for him without his enclosure but if needed he can come with his temporary enclosure for an additional 45 dollars not including the light. This is not a permanent enclosure for this animal it is a temporary enclosure while he is still young.
