Carly Rikard Music

Hi everybody! Just a little update on our upcoming shows! After much thought the Show Goats and I have decided to reschedule April 20th (this Saturday) at 378 Bar & Grill due to a band injury. We don't have a new date yet, however we will be back at 378 June 1st! In the meantime, we will be playing the Poultry Festival on May 11th at 12:30 as a full band, and I will be doing an acoustic set later in the day before Cody Webb! There will be more details to come for both of those shows, and we can't wait to see you all there!

Stopped by Hwy 378 Bar and Grill tonight to hear the band Trouble. Founding member Bryan Ballington happens to be Carly’s first guitar teacher. He said she was writing songs when she barely knew G, C, and D on the guitar. He remembers the early days when he could barely hear her sing; he encouraged her to sing like she was mad at her brother!
So many people have helped Carly over the years. Bryan was one of the first and probably the most influential in her early years! Thank you!! It was great seeing you tonight!

For those of you wondering where the band name came from, this is where it all started…..Carly and the first Show Goat!!

If y’all don’t know who Jesse Raub Jr is, do yourself a favor and check him out! If you were at the Cody Johnson concert in January, then you heard Jesse open for Cody… and that was Mike Simms killing it on the steel guitar!
