LIUNA Business Manager Jeremy Jenkins attended a public meeting at the Historic Lyric Theatre in Lexington, Kentucky, to listen as Fayette County residents voiced their concerns regarding the proposed development of data centers in the community.

Hearing directly from local residents is an important part of understanding the issues and ensuring working people have a voice in conversations that impact their communities.

Workers deserve more than delay tactics after they win a union election.

The Faster Labor Contracts Act (H.R. 5408) has passed the House and now heads to the Senate. It helps ensure workers can move from a union victory to a first contract without employers dragging negotiations out for months or years.

In Kentucky, House members voted against the bill:

Jamie Comer (CD-1)
Brett Guthrie (CD-2)
Thomas Massie (CD-4)
Hal Rogers (CD-5)
Andy Barr (CD-6)

Rep. Morgan McGarvey stood with working people and voted YES.

Take action while you have a moment and contact your Senators here: https://shorturl.at/Db78o

When workers win a union, they deserve a contract that follows.
