Kerrington’s Heart is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children born with congenital heart defects (CHD) and their families. The organization works to ease the financial and emotional burdens that come with a CHD diagnosis, so parents can focus on their child’s health and healing.

What if a single deer could feed hundreds of Kentucky kids?
That’s the idea behind Boone Brothers. Founded in Lexington by Jon Weece and named for Kentucky’s own Daniel Boone, the ministry turns donated venison into protein-rich jerky called Boone Bites which are shelf-stable snacks that don’t need refrigeration and go straight into the hands of children facing food insecurity through their schools.
Commonwealth Causes is proud to partner alongside Boone Brothers at the inagural Generosity Classic Golf Scramble on August 31st.
