Mother's Day is a beautiful holiday. It is also one of the most complicated days of the year for a lot of women.

For years, I was one of them.

I spent three years giving everything I had (my body, my savings, my hope) to becoming a mother. Two pink lines. Two heartbreaks. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, I lost myself completely.

Choosing to stop trying was the hardest decision I have ever made. And calling myself "childless by choice" was an act of reclamation ...not defeat. It was the moment I decided my story was mine to tell. Not society's. Not a diagnosis. Mine.

If you are walking into this weekend carrying grief, longing, or a quiet ache you don't quite know how to explain, I see you. You are not broken. You are not less. You are a whole woman with a story worth owning.

This is why I do the work I do. I want to be the woman for you that I needed when I was going through it alone. 💗

I wrote about my infertility journey a few years ago and it was very healing to put my story on paper. If any part of your story feels too heavy to carry alone right now, I'd love to talk. You don't have to figure this out alone.
