BAG = the Bates Authors Guild
Our meetings are held weekly at the Ronj, usually Sunday around 7:30pm.
The Bates Authors Guild (BAG) is a collaborative that serves all Bates creative writers. We hold weekly meetings and readings, as well as workshops for writers seeking to get peer feedback on their work. We welcome all writers and readers in all genres of creativity, be it poetry, prose, slam, or whatever! We also collaborate with Language Arts Live, the Art House, and SEED in order to foster a vibrant and booming community of Bates writers...Come and join the Guild!

Tomorrow, at 8:30 pm, please bring all your bags to the ronj and chant "Bob Dylan should be given the nobel peace prize as well". Then disperse after 15 minutes.
Tonight! Friday Night! 8 pm! Try starting off your weekend with some prose, poetry and uh, a 5-10 minute Fulbright Arts spiel about how you can go on an adventure for a year because you make art!
8 pm to like 8:30! No one goes to parties before like 9:00, so come on over before you go party like you're a fish in space or a debater in Yucca-land or whatever you crazy kids do these days.
Tonight! 8 pm! The Ronj in the back purple room (THUNDER DOME). Come to the first meeting of the semester. Doesn't matter if you've never made it to a meeting before, we'd love to see your beautiful faces.

Who needs a weekly Monday meeting when you can have a Thursday celebration?
TONIGHT in the ronj at 8:30 we'll be doing just that, and also handing out copies of our student work anthologies (feat. 17 of BAG's own!)
Other notable things include the usual ronj hospitality, GLITTER, word games, and prompts.
Also bring your favorite piece of writing (or copies of it to give away!) that you've read or written this year and we can share.
