History
The Stukasβ family purchased the farm in 1933 and has remained with the family ever since. Until the late 1960βs the farm was a dairy farm; however, apples have always been part of the farm, even before the Stukasβ, the previous owners would brew a mean cider. Some of these original trees still existed alongside the barn and house, but most were lost during a big freeze of 1933-34; since the family has planted additional trees with newer varieties. Currently, the farm offers seventeen various of apples: including classics like Cortlands, McIntoshs, Red and Golden Delicious, newer one like Honeycrisp, Mutsu', and Galas, and heirloom ones like Northern Spies, Baldwins, and Winesaps.
