πŸ—ΊοΈ A photo shows you what something looks like. A map tells you where everything is.
Alpine Aerials creates orthomosaic aerial maps β€” highly detailed, georeferenced overhead images stitched together from dozens or hundreds of drone photos. They're used for:
Land and property planning
Construction site progress tracking
Vegetation and terrain analysis
Visual documentation for landowners and developers
Note: our mapping services produce high-quality visual imagery and basic 3D models β€” not survey-grade outputs. For legal boundary surveys, consult a licensed surveyor.
Serving Nez Perce, Whitman, and Latah Counties and beyond. πŸ“ www.alpineaerials.org | πŸ“ž (208) 553-3901 See less

πŸ‘€ Spotted a drone flying nearby? Here's what's probably going on.
Commercial drone pilots are out working every day β€” shooting real estate, inspecting infrastructure, mapping land, documenting events. Most of us hold an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, which requires passing a federal aeronautical knowledge exam and staying current on airspace rules.
If you see a drone in your area and you're curious:
βœ… It's totally okay to walk over and ask what they're working on. Most pilots are happy to explain.
βœ… Check for a Remote ID broadcast β€” FAA-compliant drones broadcast their location and registration in real time.
βœ… If something genuinely seems wrong, you can report it to the FAA.
We're your neighbors. We're licensed. And we're usually just trying to get a great shot. πŸ‘‹

✈️ Five habits that keep every flight safe β€” from our FAA-licensed crew to yours.
Whether you fly commercially or recreationally, good habits matter:

1. Check your airspace β€” Use the FAA's B4UFLY app before every flight. Controlled airspace requires authorization.
2. Check the weather β€” Wind, low clouds, and rain can turn a routine flight into a recovery mission.
3. Keep the aircraft in sight β€” Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) is required under Part 107 for a reason.
4. Respect people and property β€” Don't fly over crowds or private property without permission.
5. Pre-flight your equipment β€” Check batteries, props, and firmware before you ever lift off.

⚠️ Don't let your next roof inspection become a hospital bill.
Ladders are one of the leading causes of serious injuries for homeowners and contractors. A drone can cover the same ground in minutes β€” safely, from the ground β€” and deliver detailed high-resolution imagery of your roof, gutters, fascia, and more.
Alpine Aerials provides fast, affordable drone-based roof and property inspections for homeowners, real estate agents, contractors, and insurance adjusters across the Lewiston/Clarkston valley, Moscow, Pullman, and surrounding areas.
Skip the ladder. Get the data. πŸ“ www.alpineaerials.org | πŸ“ž (208) 553-3901

🦌 What if counting wildlife from the air was as easy as pressing play?
We're developing a drone-based aerial counting program here in north-central Idaho β€” designed for:

🐟 Salmon redd counts
🦌 Big game population surveys
🌲 Forestry stand counts

This program is still in development, and we're actively looking for test partners β€” agencies, tribal programs, conservation groups, or landowners who want to be part of building something new.
Veteran-owned. Idaho-based. Built for this terrain. If this sounds like something your work could use, let's talk. πŸ“ www.alpineaerials.org | πŸ“ž (208) 553-3901

πŸ“‘ Big changes are coming to commercial drone airspace rules β€” here's the plain-English version.
The FAA published a proposed rule called Part 108 in August 2025. It's designed to allow drones to fly Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) β€” farther than a pilot can see β€” without requiring a one-off waiver for every single flight. That's a big deal for infrastructure inspection, delivery, mapping, and more.
The comment period closed in October 2025 with 3,000+ responses. As of June 2026, the final rule hasn't been published yet β€” it's still working through the FAA's review process. We're watching it closely.
For now, all of our flights operate under FAA Part 107 β€” the standard commercial drone license β€” with full compliance and Remote ID broadcasting. Same professionalism, same results, every flight. βœ…

Why climb a ladder when a drone can do it safer? Alpine Aerials captures detailed roof and exterior inspections from the air β€” great for homeowners, property managers, and insurance documentation. No ladders, no risk, clear high-res imagery. πŸ“ž (208) 553-3901 πŸ‘‰ www.alpineaerials.org

Spot a drone overhead and not sure what to do? Most commercial pilots are FAA-licensed (Part 107) and working a legitimate job β€” real estate, inspections, mapping. We're required to fly safely and respect privacy. Curious or concerned? It's okay to ask the operator what they're working on. A good pilot will happily explain. We always do. πŸ‘‹ πŸ‘‰ www.alpineaerials.org

Safety first, always. Before every flight we check airspace, weather, and our surroundings β€” and we keep the aircraft within visual line of sight. A few seconds of planning prevents most incidents. Flying your own drone? Know your airspace, register with the FAA, and keep clear of airports and crowds. πŸ›©οΈ πŸ‘‰www.alpineaerials.org
