I recently had the oportunity to go aboard the "Lori B" barge tug at the Port of Lewiston. My assignment was to photograph the captain and crew connecting to the barge, and then pushing it west on the Snake river. I really appreciated the seamanship and professionalism the crew displayed.

Todays Chamber Lucheon was all about tourism in the valley. Michelle Peters, the president and CEO of "Visit Lewis Clark Valley" gave a very informative presentation that, among other things highlighted the incredible impact the river cruise ship industry is having on our valley. The graduation ceremony for the Leadership LC Valley Class # 11 was held this evening at the Courtyard by Marriot Lewiston. There were a lot of laughs, good food and drinks, and a few joyful tears shed during the event.

May's Business After Hours was held at the newly established headquarters of the Lewis Clark Valley Chamber of Commerce. Every one enjoyed some pulled pork and adult beverages as industry leaders showcased the benefits of the upcoming Confluence Fiber Communications. (CFC)

I participate in a weekly international photo challenge. This weeks challenge was photographing something "unexplored" So I captured this shot of the grade above the LC valley and how its
unexplored to me. I was selected as one of 52 best photos in this challenge out of over three thousand entries.
