Hey all you Sketchy Skechers! This is Gerald Walsh, LA Arts Agency Manager. I just wanted to give you all a heads up that this Friday, July 14 from 9am to noon the Plein Air Painters of Maine will be going to the Thorncrag Bird Sanctuary. I've been in communication with Diane Dubreuil who organizes a number of chapters for the Plein Air Painters and she is very keen on starting a Western Maine Chapter (Lewiston/Auburn)! We talked about putting the call out to Sketchy to see if any of you wanted to join their ranks for the day, so here we are! Hope you are interested!!!

This is the relavent info:

WESTERN MAINE CHAPTER (WMPAP) (Lewiston and western mountains)

Passive recreation seasonally includes birdwatching, picnicking, hiking, walking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, sledding, skating, nature photography.
