Hunters Landing

Hunters Landing is looking for a working student to join our team in Sagaponick, NY from May- September, with possibility of a longer position for the right person. We are a full service show barn competing at all levels on the “A” circuit. This position provides you an opportunity to truly see all sides of the sport, gain experience at horse shows, and train with top trainers at a gorgeous facility with a wonderful group of clients and horses. There are a lot of riding opportunities dependent on skill level but advanced riding is not required for this position. This is not a grooming position however the right candidate would be willing to work in all aspects as needed.

Double champion Cady Ryan and Grey Goose champion Short Stirrup Equitation and Hunter Under 10,

Ella Bikoff and Secret life 2nd place in her first derby!

Stella Propp and Maraschino had the highest score in the second round of the 3"3 junior classic of 88!

Spencer o'flanigan and Costello, Mary Gassib and Saltwood Tuscany, Helen and Leading Lady qualified for the 2nd round of the children's classic out of close to 50 ponies!

Unbelievably amazing day at Zone 2 Hunter Finals.

In the Childrens Horses, Adore and Eliza won the Under Saddle and recieved a 7th over fences out of a competitive group. Marion and Isha rode great and demonstrated how far they have come this year as riders and competitors.

In the Childrens small/ mediums...
Clara and "Saltwood Tuscany" won the 2nd class with an impressive 87.
They also recieved two third place ribbons to take the Championship in the Sm/Med division.

Clara won the first class on her other mount "Farnley Blew Kisses", to sweep the over fences.

Aerin and "Look AT Me" were 4,5 and 1st and just missed reserve champion.

7 year old Vivian had super rounds on "Patchwork Blueberry" and had to have been the cutest pair

As if the could get any better, in the large Childrens...

"MT Pockets" and Isha, defended her title from 2015, and did it again, Champion in the Childrens larges, Grand Champion Childrens Pony Rider, Isha was awarded best child, and High Point Horse with almost a clean sweep of the division.

"Miss Amazing" and Hope won the other blue in the division and was Reserve Champion.

Stella and Skye were incredible and recieved an 84 and got a 2nd in the second class.

We also received the High Point Trainer Award and the Kathy Scholl High Score Trainer Award

Extra grateful for the sweet and talented horses/ponies who always give us 100percent.

Clara and Tucker were Champion in the medium Childrens, after an exciting hack off, Aerin and Look at Me took the Reserve Champion.
In the small ponies, Aerin also was reserve Champion on her new pony Party Crasher.
In the large ponies, Stella relieved a 1st and 2nd over fences day one, and ended up reserve Champion on News Day
In the horses, Isha had two very consistent trips, earning an 82 and 81 and staying in the high ribbons out of a strong group. Eliza and Adore won the hack and got a 7th over fences.
Eliza missed the cut off for the medal by 1 point in a very competitive group of 60.
In the pony medal Hope and Blossom were 5th in the final out of 40 and 2nd in the Hudson. Ella and kisses also received 7th in the medal. Plus more I'm sure I am

Hunters Landing had a very successful Garden State 2015:

Izzy and Daisy were Champion in the green pony hunters and Small Pony Hunters!

Isha was 1st on Amazing and 2nd on Montego in the M&S large children's pony classic out of 30!

Hearts and Stella were Reserve Champion in the Medium ponies and won the WCHR pony hunter classic!

Eliza and brightness were Champion in the Pre Children's Hunter Horses !

Aerin won the eq flat out of 21 riders on Huey!

Hope was Reserve Champion in the short stirrup on Greyson and Champion in the Pleasure on Lucy!

Inspector and Devin got the high score of 86 in the first round of the classic and were 1st and 2nd o/f in the sm/med children's!

Spencer and daybreak got a 2nd and ribboned in all there over fences out of 22!

Raina qualified Blueberry for the 2nd round of the classic and got a 3rd on Blossom out of 26 in the children's u/s!

Clara and Top Hat got ribbons in all of her over fences including a 2nd!

Juliette got a 3rd and ribboned on Tuscany in 3 of the 4 o/f in the children's ponies out if 25!

Marion and Secret got a 2nd and 4th very competitive Children's Hunter Horse division!

Amelia and her new pony got ribbons in the medium pony hunters at the first show together and Amelia got a 2nd on her small Skippin School!

Hunters Landing also received the award for best set up!
