It's been a long time but the barnwood vanity is finally done.

it's been a little while, but I finally got off my Duff and decided to build something today. After a few hours of fiddling around I decided I'd better finish something. So here's the progress on a shelved project that I've been meaning to complete.

Started building a vanity this weekend for the bathroom using some old barn wood. The Finished top is going to be barn wood stained and then filled in with clear epoxy. The first Furniture build is going pretty smoothly.

Had a great time touring the Junk Yard at Mongo's. If you are into the same stuff I am, you should check him out. He makes some great art pieces out of trucks that might otherwise go to scrap. He sells all kinds of circa 1950 Chevy trucks and truck parts for restoration.

Preliminary light test on the 76 'vette fascia. Only got 3 of 4 to light the first time. Turns out you have actually to have a light bulb in there for it to light up. Head slap! Who knew?
