During Ridgeline, our GMs worked through real scenarios, listened to other leaders share their successes, and discussed what strong, reliable leadership should look like for our business. "Changing your perspective changes reality," explained PCI Austin/San Antonio's GM, Jason Martin. "And our mindset drives how we show up, make decisions, and create impact every day."

Our teams focus on safety every day, but there's always more to learn. Last month, PCI crews across the nation participated in quarterly safety focus (QSF) events, many of them held during Construction Safety Week.

For the events, we focused our discussions on the pillars from Safety Week—Recognize, Respond, and Respect—by sharing best practices, tools, and resources to help prevent serious injuries.

During the last few weeks of Mental Health Awareness Month, employees from our branches and corporate locations joined their teammates for a walk at lunch to promote stronger mental wellness. 🚶‍➡️🧠

Throughout May, we have focused on building more good days together, which starts with awareness and action. Our teams also explored ways to support mental well-being, including understanding mental health in the workplace, taking action through everyday wellness habits, and recognizing and addressing burnout.

Together, we can build workplaces where everyone feels supported. Let's plan to carry these conversations beyond May and keep making space for well-being every day. 💚

We empower our employees with training programs that help them grow. And this month, we helped strengthen teams from across the company during our Business Essentials and Crucial Influence training sessions.

Business Essentials is a training program designed to equip key players like administrators, superintendents, and warehouse teams, to have a greater impact on day-to-day processes. This session brought colleagues together from branches and corporate departments, and attendees discussed practical strategies to help our internal teams and business partners achieve stronger results together. 💪

The Crucial Influence course brought together nationwide attendees for group discussions and in-class training sessions focused on leadership behavior. The goals of this two-day course are to help formal and informal leaders throughout our organization recognize influential behaviors and effectively motivate and enable others. 🙌
