Calvary Baptist Church is a church in Lenexa, Kansas which is built on the Word of God. We don't have a lot of programs. Upward = corporate worship gatherings.
The distinguishing characteristic of our church is expository preaching and teaching, which drives us to live in real biblical community with one another. We are not a Walmart church where you come and get what you want and leave. Our members are dedicated to loving and serving one another. On Tuesday, June 9, from 6:00-8:00pm, all are invited to an evening of worship and fellowship. There will be bubble activities for the kids. We will be serving hotdogs and hamburgers. Please sign up in the foyer with the side or dessert you are bringing.

Please join us this Sunday for our Missions Emphasis Sunday.
During the Sunday School hour (9:30-10:30am), we will host a missions fair in the fellowship hall where you can learn about several countries that are significant to members of our congregation.
We will also have a missions-oriented worship service that includes praying for other countries and a sermon by Dale Baker. Dale will be preaching "Disciples that Make Disciples" from Matthew 4:12-22.
Tomorrow at Calvary, Pastor Brian Albert will continue preaching through the book of Matthew with "The Mission of Jesus" from Matthew 9:9-13.
