The Shearing of Christmas trees started today. The trees look healthy this year. If the weather cooperates should have a good crop for the holidays. Shearing and trimming should be completed by July 4th.
What a beautiful day today. Had a good turnout, so SOLD OUT for this year. Thank you for all that turned out. Hopefully we will see everyone again next year.
We plan to open for tree cutting November 29th at 10 AM. Since there is a shorter time from Thanksgiving to Christmas we are opening on Friday after Thanksgiving this year. Hopefully it won’t be total chaos and everyone will be in a holiday mood. We do have some taller trees this year, so if you came in the past and didn’t find one tall enough try again this year. Like in the past all trees are one price.
If you are coming to Hessacres my driveway is off 83rd Street. Some GPS units will tell you to turn on Barth Road which is just east of my driveway, but does not access my property.
