We just finished a full resleeve and timesert head bolt repair on a 1983 Mercedes 380SL block. These are originally Alusil cylinders but we were able to go back to standard bore by installing iron fl**ge sleeves.

One of these combustion chambers is not like the other. We see some unique carnage here at QCKC but valve relocation like this is a rare surprise.

Here is a before and after on a set of LS heads in the shop today for a 3 angle valve job and resurfacing. We enjoy working with all types of engines and the GM LS v8's are one of the most common designs we help bring back to life.
