The Advantage

OVER 10 YEARS IN THE DRONE INDUSTRY
Through their years of experience operating drones, Baam Tech recognized the fixed wing drone solutions commercially available were not up to the task. Delta fixed-wings, due to their light bodies, are far too susceptible to wind and turbulence. The rocking motion they develop in flight disables the payload from collecting reliable data. And once the aircraft is in winds at or above 10 mph, most aircrafts are forced to land.

Higher end composite systems have good image quality but require extremely large fields to land and sometimes required extra equipment for launching. Also all these system have NADIR (straight down) camera angles, which causes low quality 3d models and create less accurate models with vegetation.

Baam Tech, recognizing the uncomfortable decision facing commercial surveyors in incorporating UAV into their operation, set out to create an aircraft that addresses all problems facing survey grade drones.
