Building Blocks Preschool

We had an incredible turn out for our first annual Donuts with Dad to kick off Father's Day weekend with our AMAZING Dads!!

Thank you to everyone who came out, it was such a fun morning!!

We've been making the most of this beautiful weather!

Learning CAN take place at a table but, here at Building Blocks, learning happens inside, outside, on the ground, down a slide or around the bicycle track ❤️

🌟 Teacher Spotlight: Miss Kylie! 🌟

We're so proud to spotlight Miss Kylie, co-leader of our Blue Room!

Miss Kylie's connection to Building Blocks goes way back — she actually started here as a student herself!

Now she's come full circle, helping shape the next generation of little learners with the same warmth and care she experienced growing up.

We are thankful to have her as part of our team, inspiring wonder in our students and working to build confident kids with us here at the Blocks!

Wednesday, we had Theatre of Imagination here to help our students engage in creative movement and role playing!

Students got to be a part of the show and had so much fun dancing, playing and acting out parts of the poems and plays that Theatre of Imagination shared with us. Our summer session has been jammed packed with adventures and developing new skills--and we are only two weeks in!

Open ended crafts with our "Maker Station" has been a super fun addition to our afternoons- especially when it's so hot we can't be outside as long as we like to be!

We didn't let the weather bring us down this morning! When we would have had our outside block, we extended centers and had a chance to spend extra time building and reading inside ❤️

No room for bad days when you have curious minds and sweet friends to make new connections with every day!

Meet Hallie — one of the heart and soul of our Red Room and a Building Blocks fixture for years! 🏫❤️

If your family has ever dropped off in the morning, you already know her face — Hallie is often the very first warm smile that greets your little one at the door. She sets the tone for the whole day, and we truly can't imagine mornings without her! 🌅

Beyond her incredible way with families, Hallie is also our go-to tech problem solver 💻 — whenever something isn't working, she's the first one we call. And honestly? She always figures it out.

Hallie, thank you for your years of dedication, your eagerness to help, and for making every family feel so welcomed from the moment they walk in. We are SO lucky to have you! 🧡
