Among the thousands of folks from the Kansas City metro and even other countries who have agreed to welcome the visitors are volunteers Jackie Kindred and her daughter Rose, of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, as well as Elizabeth Aguayo, of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. 🙏

For the local emissaries, the common thread that connects them is their love of Kansas City and their desire to make it shine during the World Cup. ✨

“The Eucharist is the sacrament of love: it signifies love, it produces love. The Eucharist is the consummation of the whole spiritual life.” - St. Thomas Aquinas

Holy Trinity celebrated the Solemnity of Corpus Christi on Sunday after the 11:30 AM Mass with adoration, a Eucharistic procession with this spring's First Communicants, and benediction. Thank you to all who made this beautiful celebration of our Lord in the Eucharist possible.

We've had a great day at the Painted Hills Golf Course for the Fr. Tom Dolezal Memorial Golf Classic!

Thank you to Mike Stompoly and the Knights of Columbus for organizing, and all of our participants. This annual fundraiser benefits our St. Vincent de Paul Ministry, which provides financial support for families in our community.

We love our Holy Trinity Knights of Columbus!

A special shout-out to all our community partners who came together to help us transform and beautify the grounds of Shalom House over the last two weeks. We are overjoyed with the results and it would not have been possible without their skills and generosity!

Thank you to Dylan Parsley of Wyandotte County K-State Extension, for his thoughtful design and guiding the volunteers, to the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish Knights of Columbus Council of Palms #6673 in Lenexa for their manual labor and generosity of $500 which helped purchase materials and to the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Centurions who lent a hand with the planting. Thank you all for helping us cultivate a welcoming and beautiful environment for our residents!

If you are looking for a fulfilling outdoor volunteer project, we are seeking volunteers to help with upkeep of the grounds, including lawn mowing in the summer and watering our new plants! If you are interested, email us at [email protected].
