"But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed." | Isaiah 53:5
Today we pause and remember the sacrifice, the love, and the process that was paid for us all.
There is still hope.

This Sunday, we continue our journey through Epiphany. This is the season where God reveals Himself among us.
Jesus opens His Sermon on the Mount with
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:3)
To be poor in spirit isn’t weakness but we need to be aware of our need of a Savior and making room for His presence in our lives.
In Epiphany, we’re reminded that God is always at work but we see Him most clearly when our hearts are open.

In case you missed us yesterday:
In John 1:29-42, we see the John the Baptist seen Jesus, showed Him to others, and shared the truth about who He was— the Messiah.
But here’s the key: we only recognize God among us if we’re looking for Him.
Andrew recognized Jesus, and immediately went to find his brother Simon, and they followed, and then Jesus asked, “What are you looking for?”
Pastor Jack reminded us that when we ask Jesus into our hearts, what we are really asking is how we fit into God’s life and what He’s already doing.
That starts with where our eyes and our hearts are focused.
What are you looking for in this season?
