We decided to spontaneously go to yesterday (We’ve never visited there before)!

I packed a day bag with lots of water, apples, bananas, and a few diapers and wipes.

I also make sure to bring ziplock bags for dirty diapers, and I keep a pack of diapers and wipes in my car regularly for emergencies.

It’s about 3 hours from our home, and since it’s not too far, we originally planned to only stay the day, but quickly changed our minds! We wanted to stay in the area for as long as we could (good thing I already had diapers and wipes in the car to last me till we got back home)! We did end up buying a few things like pajamas and toothbrushes.

It was a fun time! And we learned Sophie loves hiking! We’re excited to go more with her in the future!

I’ve been debating putting this photo up…
The left is Sophie on a changing table in the bathroom when she at 18 months old. The right is a photo of her in the car getting her diaper changed using the BabyTopi changing pad, also at 18 months.

She is the reason I decided to create the BabyTopi changing pad. It makes me so sad to see her so uncomfortable! I want her to not totally hate road trips and bathrooms, and changing her in my car allows me to make sure she gets her diaper changed sooner! My changing pad I created does just that! She is much happier in the car than on that changing table!!

How does your baby react to getting changed on a changing table in a rest stop/ restaurant/ grocery store?

If she’s anything like Sophie, I’d 10/10 recommend checking out my store and picking yourself out a changing pad! You won’t regret it!

Imagine finally getting to a place where you can change your baby; the bathroom is busy with people and they are drying their hands right next to you while you’re changing her diaper…

Well, you don’t have to imagine it! I found this on my travels a few weeks ago. Why would they place a hand blow dryer right next to this changing table? There were other walls available!

Bathrooms are already dark and loud enough without having a stranger standing right next to you as they dry their hands and you’re changing baby.
