Tomorrow is Library Days at Blue Marsh, presented by Reading District Libraries! Families are welcome to join us at Lakeview Pavillion for a story time with a librarian, fun activities, and a Ranger-led program about the watershed.

🌟 Program Highlight- Art Exploration!🌟

Get creative this summer with Ms. Sarah at the Schuylkill Valley Community Library! At this youth focused art and creativity workshop, patrons will be able to work on different art projects each week on brand with the Unearth a Story theme! Explore different mediums of art, and let your creativity come to life!

Free library program great for children ages 6-14 years old (children ages 6- 11 years old will need to attend with parent support per library supervision policy). No registration required. Every Monday June 8th- August 3rd, no program June 29th.

🌟 Program Highlight- Dashing Dinos! 🌟

Join the Schuylkill Valley Community Library and Miss Nancy from Peace N Reiki for a dino - mite good time! Dashing Dinos runs June 8th- August 3rd, Mondays at 10:30AM. Event best for children ages 2- 8 years old. No registration required, free to attend. No program June 29th.

Dashing Dinos is a mindfulness adventure for kids! Step into a world where mindfulness comes alive through interactive storytelling, movement, and art! In this engaging and imaginative class, your child will embark on an exciting quest to learn about mindfulness and social/ emotional well being through dinosaur themed activities.

We are officially in the swing of summer, and things at the library are in full gear. We'd hate for you to miss out on a single thing during Summer Learning! So, get your calendars out, your pencils ready, and check out the following program highlight:

Baby Lap Sit! This fun, interactive program, full of stories, songs, and play activities, is perfect for children ages 0-2 years old (older siblings are always welcome)! Join us in the program room at SVCL on Mondays at 9:30 AM. Attendance is always free, and no registration is required. Note that there will be no program on June 29th in observance of the 4th of July holiday.

Join the SVCL in the Leesport Park (baseball field and pavilion areas), on June 12th from 5:00- 7:00PM to get in on the fun and kick off Summer Learning 2026!

We're moving things outdoors to make the most of the nice weather!

Little Movers at the Library (9:00AM) and Story Time (10:00AM) will both take place in the fenced pavilion area behind the library, and next to the Leesport Pool. See you there!
