It's good to be back!

Went from 2nd back to 4th in the heat race, and went 7th to 7th in the feature after 20 laps. I've definitely got some rust to shake off, but we've got one hell of a powerplant in the car to start the year, now we just gotta get it dialed into the track.

23rd to 3rd Run in the Slingshot Feature! - East Coast Indoor Dirt Nationals 2026 This year, the finale of the Indoor Auto Racing Championship for the Slingshots was held on the clay in Trenton NJ, part of the East Coast Indoor Dirt Nation...

I am speechless...

Partly from being exhausted, partly because I can't believe what we were able to accomplish tonight.

Today was the Indoor Auto Racing Championship finale for the slingshots, and we were just planning on showing up to have some fun and see what happens. Well...

We had to work for it. We had a DNF in our heat race after having a LR tire pull off the bead while running second. Starting in the back of the B Main, we had to finish at least 6th to quality for the feature. We barely got through, making a couple passes in the closing laps to finish 5th.

For the feature, we started 23rd, and to say the track had character was an understatement. Thankfully, starting in the back and seeing everyone struggle, we figured out how to tame it with a little patience and cat fishing the bottom.

After 25 laps, we worked all the way up to get a 3rd place finish on the podium!!! We were also fortunate to be able to pick up the hard charger award. After almost not even making the show, I'm ecstatic to be able to close out the indoor season this way.

Huge thank you to Dave and Wendy Guest for allowing me to run this car, Martin Reinsmith, Mark Kohler, Cody Kohler, and everyone else who chipped in a hand tonight and all season.

Lastly, huge thank you to the Sammons family and all of the promoters with the Indoor Series. It was a great move bringing the slingshots to Trenton on a Thursday night!

We are on the way down to Trenton to play in the dirt for the finale of the Indoor Auto Racing Championship!

Man, what a fun weekend that was at Atlantic City!

We had to put in some work to make the Saturday night Gambler's Classic A-Main after going 6th to 7th in a very stacked and physical Slingshot qualifier on Friday night. In Saturday afternoon's B-Main where only 2 qualify, we started 2nd, got lucky with a couple of initial starts getting called back, but cashed in on that luck to stay in 2md place, putting us into the show starting 24th of 24.

In the A Main, the beast that is Indoor Slingshot Racing was on full display, fully unhinged, physical, and with plenty of hurt feelings. We were able to advance up to finish in 10th place through attrition, having a bad fast racecar, and dishing out some karma. Watch it all play out on our go pro! (link attached)

I have to thank My Dad, Nick Timar III, David and Wendy Guest, Cody and Mark Kohler, and Eddie Geiger Jr. for all of your help this weekend. Also shout-out to Bear with Low Down and Dirty; it was a pleasure having you guys along for the ride!

Lastly, I really feel for my teammate Cody Kohler. After starting on the pole and leading over half the race with a dominant car, he ended up facing the wrong way around, ending his shot at the win. Regardless of fault, I just hate to see it happen. Cody has been in that position multiple times and has always gotten the short end of the stick.

We've got one more indoor dance this season coming up in two weeks at Trenton!

We had a bit of a challenging day at Atlantic City today. We had great speed until time trials when it mattered the most. We timed 21st quick in time trials, leaving us to run a heat race to qualify into tomorrow nights feature race program.

In our heat race, we started 6th place where only 5 qualify, and we ended up finishing 7th after a physical start to our heat race.

Thanks very much to the folks at Low Down and Dirty for coming along for the ride!

We will be starting in a B Main tomorrow afternoon looking to qualify into Saturday nights big dance. Fingers crossed! 🤞🤞🤞

Cody Kohler and I were FAST in the last round of practice, with the track really coming in after 3 rounds of trying to get rubber to stick.
