Our results the last few weeks haven't been stellar, but we've got our power plant figured out!

Last Wednesday July 15th we never really recovered from a bad pill draw, going from 11th to 9th in the feature race.

Yesterday was better, going 3rd to 3rd in our heat, and 5th to 6th in the feature.

Years ago at Shellhammer, there used to be a couple dominant cars that everyone would be chasing. Now, the whole field is on that level. With no room for error, we will keep tweaking and looking for an edge!

What a scorcher last night at Shellhammers. With a real feel temp well into the 100's, we were able to recover from a mediocre start of the night to a strong finish in our feature!

Track was locked down fast for our heat race and we missed the setup for that fighting tight, so we would start 4th and finish 5th. All cars that finished out of the top two had to run a B-Main, and we would start 7th in our B and finish 5th with a car that was improving on a slick track.

This all put us starting 15th in the feature. We threw the kitchen sink at the car for the feature race And tried out some new adjustments, and they worked - we drove up to a 6th place finish after 30 laps.

Feels like we've finally got our fuel delivery issues resolved, thanks Martin Reinsmith! Also need to thank Eddie Geiger Jr. For the pit help last night!

Back to Shellhammers next Wednesday.

Apologies for the lack of updates here, but the last few weeks have been frustrating to say the least.

We've been fighting mechanical issues with fuel delivery since our visit to Hamlin Speedway back on June 13th, which led to a DNF there, an 8th place feature finish at Shellhammer last week, and a DNF tonight after starting 3rd, but slowly fading back in the field after our sluggish engine performance woes returned in the feature.

We might be down but we aren't at all done. I've gotta thank my Dad, Joseph Malson, Anthony M Raspantini, and Leo Cooke for all of your help the past few weeks. The car has been perfect handling wise, and once we get a carburetor that actually functions as it should, we will be knocking on the door of victory lane.

Time to make some changes, and we will be back for the Golden Hammer at Shellhammers next Wednesday!

If you are available, please head to Kutztown tomorrow night to let your voices be heard in support of the track. The track has been a staple at the fairgrounds for years, and has only grown in recent years. Both my Dad and I have done many laps around this place in a 270 micro. The track continues to put on great shows even while following the rules set by the local authorities.

GOOD MORNING ACTION TRACK FANS & RACERS. The crusade to shut down Action Track continues this Tuesday night at the Community Development & Public Safety Meeting led by our neighbor Fredrick Engelhardt.

As we continue to follow the rules, Fredrick continues to push his agenda to shut the track down. We always operate as good neighbors, but it's just never enough.

Racers, Race Fans, please come out tomorrow night Tuesday June 9 at 7:30 PM and let the borough know. No one is here trying to cause any harm, we are all trying to enjoy our "Quality of Life". We come in for 12 events a year, for a few hours a night, enjoy our freedoms and go home.

No, the world is not perfect, yes there are things others do that we don't care for. But it is America where we all have our Freedom within rules and laws. Maybe one day everyone in America will all get along and realize the wonderful things we all have in life and appreciate them.

We've definitely gotten our mojo back after an uneventful start of the season!

This past Saturday we put the wings on and went up to Hamlin Speedway for the return of the 270 micros. In our feature race we started 4th, and brought it home in third place after some fun racing that went green to checkered!

Tonight, as returned to Shellhammer Dirt Track with some fresh adjustments made to our carburator - the difference was very apparent and it shows in our results tonight! 3rd to 3rd in our heat race. 4th to 2nd in the feature with a car that was absolutely on rails!

Thank you Nick Timar III for the help Saturday and to my Dad Martin Reinsmith for the immense help in Wednesday nights.

We plan to keep it going at Shelly's in the month of June, along with another stop at Hamlin Speedway in June 13th.

Wednesday night at Shellhammer Dirt Track we had an uneventful night, going 12th to 12th in the feature while racing on a tricky racetrack.

Tonight, we are up at the Hamlin Speedway, where the 270's are returning after a 7 year break away from the track. Looking forward to a good fun night here!

After almost a month of getting bullied around by mother nature, it's race day once again!

Time to let it rip around Shellhammers tonight and have some fun.

If we play our cards right, we will be out once again this Saturday with the wings on! Stay tuned for more on that later this week 🏁

It's good to be back!

Went from 2nd back to 4th in the heat race, and went 7th to 7th in the feature after 20 laps. I've definitely got some rust to shake off, but we've got one hell of a powerplant in the car to start the year, now we just gotta get it dialed into the track.
