Whatโs the problem? ๐ง
Right here in Berks County, parts of the Oysterville Creek watershed have been altered over time, impacting how water flows through the land.
When streams are pushed out of their natural path, it can lead to:
๐ Erosion
๐ Damages to water quality
๐ Habitat loss for wildlife
We walked the site with David Osgood to see firsthand whatโs happening and why restoration is so important.
This is exactly why projects like this matter, not just for today, but for the future of Berks Countyโs environment.
โก๏ธ Stay tuned for Part 3, where we highlight the people and partners making this project possible.
