Thank you so much to Sunset Hills Montessori School for their continued support of our service and therapy dog programs! They raised over $1500 this school year through several fundraisers and a lot of hard work. This partnership not only helps us, but also gives the students the valuable experience of philanthropy as well as the practical lessons of running a fundraiser and practicing their counting skills. We look forward to seeing everyone again in the fall!

It's training time again! Do you have a child or know a child that would like to get out of the house and lend us a hand with some therapy dog training? We need as many kiddos as possible (ages 5 to 18) to come out to our office in Leesburg tomorrow, Thursday, May 14th from 7:15pm to 8:00pm to help us train our up and coming therapy dogs. We wrapped up our Spring Break Junior Trainer camp yesterday with a visit from a wonderful group of residents from Waltonwood. It was a great opportunity for the kids to show off their skills and a great opportunity for the puppies to practice their manners while greeting new people. We are looking forward to more visits in the future .. and we are also looking forward to some additional Junior Trainer camp dates! We have two more one day camps on April 10th and 21st, and have added an additional week to our Summer Camp series - June 15-19th. Registration is open at www.heelinghouse.org
