It’s TECH TUESDAY💕💕 This month we are highlighting, Kaila. Kaila started at PAINT as an apprentice when we opened and is now one of our lead nail techs! (and dare we say…house DJ🎶)😉 We adore your professionalism, bubbly spirit and all of your super talents, but mostly your heart!❤️

Q: What do you love about PAINT?
~ I love the uniqueness of it. there’s no other salons like us and there’s always such a good vibe! We’re a big family! i also love the friendships i’ve made with not only my team but with my clients as well💕

Q: What is your title?
~ I am the Lead Nail technician :)

Q: Current nail trends or color you are loving?
~ I’m loving the “jelly cat eye” where you put cat eye polish under a clear jelly color! also loving all things chrome ✨

Q: Do you have any favorite local spots?
~ I love getting some Pho at Saigon Cafe in sterling or the best sushi at Mr Sushi Mrs Roll in lansdowne! 5tara has my favorite butter chicken as well!

Q: What is your hidden talent?
~ I can’t say i have one that i’ve found in myself yet….unless knowing every word to every Justin Bieber song counts lol 😊🤣

Q: How do you spend your days when you’re not at PAINT?
~ When i’m not with my Paint Fam, i am normally hanging out with my love, Ethan, and our 2 kitties, Ash and Bubbles, or hanging with friends! I also love trying out new food spots!

Q: Who or what inspires you?
~ I could name a list of people who inspire me, but SOMETHING that inspires me is the future that i want for myself. i have a lot of goals in life and work that i’m constantly trying to work on! :)

Provides an amazing environment for me to learn and get into nails with a fume free atmosphere, great training and resources and an overall spacious and fun environment for work!

What is your title?: Lead nail tech💅

What current nail trends or color you are loving?: All the weird or unusual colors of the season and love talking my clients into getting them!! Teals, greens, and those harvesty mustards/oranges. And now Xmas nail art season!!🎄

Do you have any favorite local spots?: Bandit taco🤤

What is your hidden talent?: I can pretty much guess the color name from hearing a swatch number or looking at a color perfectly, especially if it’s madam glam

How do you spend your days when your not at PAINT?: Cuddling with my kitties and fiancé, painting and watching trashy tv shows

Who or what inspires you?: My fiancé🖤 he is constantly striving to do his best to create a beautiful life for us so it only makes me want to do the same. Also my coworkers, we are all constantly learning from eachother and it’s nice to see other people’s talents every day💕
