Rest and Integration

Sundays are usually quiet days, where I create or refine my social media posts, finish up loose ends from the previous week, and make small preparations for the week ahead.

As I sat on the porch this morning thinking of the day ahead, I got nothing. No ideas or motivation whatsoever.

So I did the one thing that had to be done for Monday, and spent the rest of the day lazing. Dozing off and on with Chassie my cat. Playing games on my phone. Jotting down ideas to look at later in the week.

And the most beautiful part of all this? I returned to the very foundation of Aquarian Living:
Don’t reach. Open. Allow. Receive.

I realized the last two weeks had been full of new ideas, new projects, and new growth. I had been so busy connecting and creating that I knew in my bones it was time to rest and integrate.

Growth is an ongoing journey rather than a destination. And journeys have rhythms.
Days of movement. Days of alignment. Days of integration.
All are part of the spiral.

This week may bring a little less output and a little more listening to myself.

I know the next bloom is already gathering itself, and I don't have to pull on the petals to make it open.

Joy Just Walked in Wearing Cherries

The cherry dress arrived within the week, much faster than deliveries normally take. I wore it on Saturday, and felt absolutely lovely. I couldn’t keep the smile off my face.

Everyone I met gave me a huge smile when they greeted me. Several people commented on how much they liked the dress.

I bought a pate for lunch. I always exchange small talk with the older woman who runs the shop, though more often or not she has a complaint about some going-on on island. That day she looked me up and down and gave me the biggest, most glorious smile I’ve ever seen her give.

“Why that is such a lovely dress! You look beautiful!” I smiled from my head all the way down to my toes.
I realized that this is something I naturally do - when I notice something special about someone, I tell them. It’s always true and always graciously received.

And then I realized how much I love being a part of this community. It’s not just our store, or our customers, or my work or my clients, but everyone who stops in to say hi and to see how we are, to chat for a minute, to share their news. Customers, clients, others who work downtown, from Speedy the homeless guy who’s done odd jobs for us since we first opened our store (and still asks how my mom is doing) to the CEO of the property who ducks his head in and waves with a smile.

Joy was the blossoming. Alignment was the root.

The Emerald Ray of Harmonic Alignment reminds us that life becomes more fluid when we are living in greater harmony with ourselves.

The Week Life Started Smiling Back

Last week I began intentionally choosing one thing each day that felt light, beautiful, or life-affirming.

Wearing an outfit complete with matching earrings, necklace and shoes instead of grabbing the first thing in my closet. Putting on a new scent from the store that I could sniff all day. Blasting a song and dancing in my office and shaking my groove thing before settling in for the workday.

And all week I felt lifted. And every day responded in kind. Little things began lining up in ways I hadn’t expected.

I had been looking for an inexpensive island car for months and Wednesday she appeared, driven by a lovely young woman who hugged me when I told her I would buy her and take good care of her.

A client call on Thursday was insightful for both of us. We had so much fun together I was invited to visit her in St. Croix. I’m going in July.

And Friday, after a very challenging morning, I had a visit from a beautiful black dragonfly that reminded me of my inner strength and growth.

Alignment doesn’t have to start with a grand plan. It can begin with choosing what brings life back into your field.

The Pivot

I was looking through the mail and noticed a summer sale catalog with a woman wearing a cherry-patterned dress on the cover. I remembered a similarly patterned dress I had as a child that I loved. I smiled and put the catalog down to look at later.

The next morning after having coffee on the porch I came inside and looked at my to-do list. It was long and full of tasks I didn’t want to do. I sighed, started my computer up and got ready to dig in. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the sale catalogue. I pivoted.

I went to the website and ordered the cherry dress and a couple more items as well, all bright and cheery. It was such a different start from how I usually start my workday. The dress was so different from what I usually wear. This brough a smile that stayed with me all day.

I flew through my to-do list without internal hemming, hawing or distracted worrying. I had a creative breakthrough that I had been stuck on for a week. And I made appointments with two clients I hadn’t heard from in a very long time.

I didn’t solve my life. I bought the dress.
And somehow that small act shifted the entire day.

Easy, Quiet Joy
Sunstone in Everyday Life

A couple months ago I began drinking my coffee out on the porch.

There isn’t much of a view — trees in front of me, houses on either side. For a long time I didn’t think it was “worth” sitting outside. That first morning, though, I felt the breeze on my skin and remembered how much I love fresh air.

I inhaled. Closed my eyes. Listened.

Wind moving through leaves. The soft ti**le of windchimes. Little birds gossiping.A hammer echoing faintly off the hill. I was present.

Relaxed. Grateful.

A quiet joy rose in my heart. Such a simple beginning to the day.

Now I sit there almost every morning. I have regular visitors — lizards with distinct personalities, two butterflies who perform the most intricate dances, small birds who chatter with complete confidence.

I check on my little garden and encourage the two pineapples growing there. I noticed a plant I once assumed was a random w**d pushing up through the cement. It revealed itself as a “Moses in a Boat,” a resilient beauty whose seeds travel easily. I’m replanting it somewhere where it can flourish.

Such an easy practice. Nothing dramatic. Nothing grand. Just presence and attention.

The Sunstone Ray reminds us that joy does not need extravagance. Joy is everywhere – quiet, easy, alive. Aquarian embodiment lives here — in the breeze, in the birds, in the scent of morning air, in the simple act of sitting and allowing life to meet us, beautifully and joyfully.

Sunstone Ray — Illuminated Joy
Aquarian Embodiment in Real Time

This morning at Mystic By The Sea, an absolutely stunning woman walked in. Tall. Stately. Elegant in a quiet way. We chatted briefly and I let her browse. She sampled one of Blooming Alchemy’s scents and visibly softened. She carried the sample card with her as she moved through the store.

She wandered to our win-win-win corner — jewelry created by women whose livelihood also supports their healing journey, and goes a step beyond, too. As we spoke again, I looked at her and said gently,
“You are beautiful. Not just outwardly — your soul, your heart, all of you.” She shook her head. Her eyes filled. “I’m on a healing journey. It’s what brought me here.” she said. “I’m trying to find who I am again. It just hurts so much.”

Her pain was real. Deep. Honest. So I asked her something simple. “What brings you joy? When do you notice beauty?” She paused. She couldn’t find an answer.

Then I reminded her when she smelled the scent. “You smiled,” I said. “Your whole face lit up.” She laughed softly. “Yes. That felt joyful. And beautiful.” “How did it feel in your body?” “My heart lifted. I felt brighter. Something opened.”

This is Aquarian embodiment. Healing is not a ladder you climb through suffering. It is a return to sensory truth.

Joy becomes the compass. Beauty becomes the doorway. The body becomes the guide.
The Sunstone Ray teaches that illuminated joy is not separate from growth. It is growth.

When your heart lifts, your system reorganizes around light. When your breath softens, your soul comes forward. When something inside you brightens, that brightness is living intelligence.

In the Aquarian field, we do not wait until we are finished healing to feel joy. We begin with it.

Sunstone reminds us that your joy is not a distraction. It is a signal.

It is your soul remembering itself.

You Are Not Who You Were Before

I am blessed to have a few clients who have walked with me for decades. The conversation is easy. The commitment is real. The growth is breathtaking.

Andrea has been with me for twenty years. She began as an overworked, over-giving, overwhelmed mother searching for validation that never came. Today she is wise, sovereign, and deeply at home in herself. She belongs to herself. Yesterday she asked how I was doing.

I told her the truth. I was tired. Frustrated. Recording long YouTube videos into what feels like an empty lecture hall. Engagement has dipped. It brings up old echoes of being the professor trying to make her way in a new world.

She listened quietly and then said:
“That’s because you are not who you were before. You aren’t the professor trying to make her way in the spiritual world. I remember her. You haven’t been her in a long time. You are Alunira.”

She paused.

“You know which posts I love the most? The ones where you share something you’re actually moving through. Then you show how it resolves and which Ray met you there. The retreat. Your conversation with your brother. I can apply that to my own life.”
Then she said something I will not forget.

“You don’t need to teach about the Rays. You are the Rays. We all see that.”

And just like that, the circle closed.

Aquarian Living is not performance. It is embodiment. It is sovereignty lived in real time.
It is truth spoken while still inside the process.

Soul Connection. Embodied Truth. Embodied Wisdom.
Not as theory. As life.

Little Bird, Big Message

I was drinking my coffee this morning, mildly grumbling about paperwork I need to submit again to straighten out my mortgage. Seven years of repeated errors. Seven years of resubmitting documents.
Seven years of the strange echo that always brings me back to Suzy’s death. It’s never just paperwork.

There is always a thread.

Almost every morning, a small bird joins me while I drink my coffee.
She chatters. Complains about the other birds, especially the loud yellow bananaquit. I listen. We agree. She flies off.

This morning she did something different. She landed directly on the top of my head. Right on my crown.

She stayed only a moment — but in that moment I saw the colors of the Rays. I felt my body brighten. Something aligned. Something steadied.

A clear knowing moved through me: everything is unfolding in order. Not only the mortgage.
Everything.

Later, as I sat with it, I realized something. The paperwork. The grief. The retreat. My brother. The quiet architectural shifts in my life. They are not separate strands. When I pause and feel them in my body, they unify.

This is the Opal Ray, the Ray of living connection across layers.
Connection between worlds. Connection between grief and joy.
Connection between paperwork and crown light.
Connection between morning coffee and cosmic reassurance.

Opal teaches that nothing is random when you are embodied. Everything belongs.

This morning, a little bird reminded me.
