Meet Shawn Wiseman, Current FSPA Vice President and Florida Swims Foundation Board of Trustees President, who has proudly served on the FSPA Board of Directors for six years and stepped into leadership because he saw the value of the organization and wanted to do his part. As he puts it, he’s never been one to sit on the sidelines when he knows he can contribute.

For Shawn, serving on the Executive Committee is about giving back to an industry that has given so much to him and his family. He’s passionate about helping FSPA grow, strengthen its influence and continue making a positive impact across Florida’s pool industry.

💡 His advice for members considering leadership?
“Just try it. Start at your local chapter, gain experience, and don’t get complacent. If someone asks you to step up, it’s because they see something in you, go for it.”

Outside of FSPA, Shawn stays busy as a beekeeper 🐝, a private pilot ✈️, an Assistant Scout Master with his son Myles and a car stereo enthusiast.

Looking ahead, one initiative he’s eager to move forward is exploring a new FSPA office, turning long-standing discussions into action to better position the Association for the future.
