It's that time of year again... Spring Cleaning!🧽🧹🪣 Here's a helpful checklist to guide you through it this year! Happy Spring Cleaning!🌸😁

DELICIOUS SUMMER CRUNCH SALAD RECIPE🥗🍅🌽

INGREDIENTS:
-1 medium sized cucumber, lightly peeled and roughly chopped-- I like to leave some of the peel on for flavor but taste your cucumber and if the peel is bitter then peel the whole thing
-1 pint cherry tomatoes, sliced in half (or two medium sized tomatoes chopped)
-1 large or 2 smaller bell peppers, seeded and roughly chopped (or any type of sweet pepper)
-1/2 of a red onion peeled and roughly chopped
-1 1/2 cups fresh corn kernels (from about 2 ears of fresh sweet corn)
-1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
-3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
-2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
-salt and pepper
-pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
-a heaping 1/2 cup of crumbled goat cheese or feta cheese

PREP🥄
In a large bowl toss together all the chopped veggies with salt, pepper and crushed red pepper flakes. Drizzle with the oil and vinegar. Taste for seasonings and then crumble with the goat cheese.

DIRECTIONS FOR FUN & EASY EARTH DAY SNACK 🌎🌳

1. Cut the grapes and blueberries, if desired in half.
2. Then have your child mix the sugar, vanilla and cream cheese in a small bowl.
3. Now it’s time to spread the sweetened cream cheese mixture onto the rice cake which is now going to become your Earth.
4. The last step is to tell them to create the earth by placing the blueberries for the water and the grapes for the land.

INGREDIENTS FOR EARTH DAY SNACK 🫐🍇🥄
• 1 cup blueberries cut in half
• 1 cup green grapes cut in half
• 1 package cream cheese
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 Tb sugar
• Package of flavored rice cakes (or one large cookie base)

Useful Maintenance Tip:

To avoid damage to your garbage disposal be sure to turn it on once a day! There may be food sitting at the bottom which in the long run eats away at the metal. If this happens repeatedly it can lead to leaks, damage, or completely break your garbage disposal. So once you have a clean sink don’t forget to flip that switch and let it run for a few seconds!
