Are you being conformed or transformed? “Do not be conformed to his world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2). How? Think about “whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things” (Philippians 4:8).

Need mercy, grace & great love? “But God, being rich in MERCY, because of the GREAT LOVE with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ - by GRACE you have been saved…” (Ephesians 2:4-5). May you have supernatural sight to see that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

Need calm in the storm? Look to Jesus! The psalmist declares the LORD God Almighty “rules over the surging sea; when its waves mount up, you still them” (Psalm 89:9). An eyewitness of Jesus calming the Sea of Galilee said that Jesus “rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Peace! Be still!’ Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm” (Mark 4:35-41). The winds and the waves still obey the Creator & King! May you have heart-eyes to see the King of Kings who reigns today and forevermore.

Looking for something glorious? Look to the eternal Lord of Glory! In times past, the Glory of the Lord appeared in the midst of Israel. In the fullness of time, “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us”, and He “manifested His glory” (John 1-2). At the transfiguration: Jesus’ face shone like the sun; His garments became as light; and Moses & Elijah appeared and talked with him (Matthew 17:1–8). Lift your eyes! It is a short time before “the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God” (1 Thessalonians 4:16–18). May you rejoice in the blessed hope which is “the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.” (Titus 2:13)

Need Light? Look to the Light of World! King David declared, “The LORD is my light and my salvation” (Psalm 27:1). Jesus declared, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12). May you have heart-eyes to see the brilliant light of the beautiful Savior who is light, life, and salvation!

Looking for a miracle? Look to The Miracle Worker: The Son of God; The Son of Man; The Light; The Life; The Lamb of God; Wonderful Counselor; Mighty God; Everlasting Father; Prince of Peace; and The "I Am." May you have heart-eyes to see the King!

Need calm in the storm AND peace in the pandemic? Look to Jesus! In Mark 4:35-41, Jesus “rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Peace! Be still!’ Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm.” The wind heard the voice of its Creator. The sea recognized the command of its Lord. May you have heart-eyes to see the King of Kings who reigns today and forevermore.

Looking for The Way? Want Truth? Look for the TRUTH of who you are and who God is. Understanding who God is defines (1) why you exist and (2) who you are as a divine image-bearer with immeasurable value and incalculable dignity. Follow Him. He is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE (John 14:6). May grace, peace and love be multiplied to you!

Feeling alone? You are NEVER alone. Moses declared, “The Lord your God…will not leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6). Before ascending to His heavenly throne, Jesus declared, “I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20). May we marvel that the Lord of heaven and earth is close to each one of us (Acts 17:24-28). We are NEVER alone.
