🧘 Sound Bath Meditation 🌿

Join Frances Eberhart for a soothing sound bath meditation featuring the resonant tones of singing bowls. This guided session encourages mindfulness, helping you release stress and foster a deeper connection with yourself.

You are welcome to sit in a chair or lie on the floor.

✨What to bring:
• A yoga mat or other mat to lie on
• Water
• A bolster or pillows for knee support
• Optional comfort items (blanket, neck pillow, or a zero-gravity chair)

The library will provide standard chairs you can sit on.

Please arrive by 4:45 PM. Doors close at 5:00 PM with no late admittance.

🎶 Thank you to everyone who joined us for Living by the Stream's performance at the library! 🎸

Guests enjoyed a musical journey through the songs and anthems that have shaped American history and stirred patriotic spirit across generations. With beautiful vocals, violin, guitar, and keyboard, the duo brought these timeless melodies to life while sharing their unique folk fusion style inspired by Florida's natural landscapes.

We are grateful to Living by the Stream for helping us celebrate the stories, music, and traditions that connect us as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.

Stories and science met with our latest Summer Performer, Science Heroes! We dug into the science of how the world works with a combination of interactive storytelling and STEM experiments, leaving kids enthralled while they learned something new.

The Quilting Sisters Guild of Leesburg gave kids some hands-on sewing experience during Sew & Go! Kids learned the basics and used a sewing machine to create a flower pot cozy to take home. Great job, everyone!

🦅 Our Wings of Liberty program soared! 🦅

What an incredible afternoon with the Avian Reconditioning Center (ARC)! Attendees had the rare opportunity to meet four amazing birds of prey, including Max the Bald Eagle, and learn about the important role raptors play in our ecosystem. From examining feathers and talons to discovering the biology, behavior, and conservation needs of these remarkable birds, there was something fascinating for everyone.

A special thank you to ARC for sharing their knowledge and passion for wildlife rehabilitation and conservation. We also thank everyone who joined us for this memorable America250 program celebrating our nation's heritage and natural treasures. 🗽
