Thank you to our awesome community helpers Leesburg Police Department who stopped by to visit the Douglass Preschool Classes earlier this week.

Officers from the Leesburg Police Department came by to visit with the Douglass Community Center Tuesday/Thursday 3 year old preschool class today for community helpers week. They spoke with the students about the role of police officers in the community and students were able to ask questions and check out the inside of the police cruiser with the lights flashing. Thank you to the Town of Leesburg Police for taking time out of their work day to visit and speak with the preschoolers. They will be back tomorrow morning and afternoon to visit our other preschool classes. If you’re still looking for a preschool program, we have a couple openings in our 3 year old T/TH class and one opening in our Monday through Friday, 4 year old class. Today is and we at PRCS are honored to provide children and adults alike with spaces and programs to play and move. From our numerous maintained athletic fields to our massive parks, there is a place for you to recreate and experience your backyard.

We want to send a special shout out to our many PRCS staff, especially the Sports Division, a group of 11, who schedules, programs and facilitates the usage of our fields from cricket to soccer. We would also like to highlight our Facilities Maintenance Division, a team of 24, who maintains, fixes, cultivates and makes our fields the best for everyone to play on.
