Remote Vacation

Had a blast camping this holiday weekend. Got to see a huge gator and get some boating in.

Got to see super cross last night. First time going to this race. If your looking for a great family outing definitely check this race out next time it’s here in Daytona.

What a beautiful day! We found a national park right in our backyard today. This park has so many walking trails and beach access. Definitely a must see.

If your looking for a quiet getaway away from everything this state park is a must!

Went to a few places close to the campground. The hike was shaded and through the mangroves. Only a mile. Really easy hike. And the museum was small but has a lot of really neat things. Even has a small boardwalk to the water.

Went to the Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park yesterday. It was so amazing to walk around the self guided tour. It is definitely worth the $4 to see this. It has lots of artifacts that they found on the grounds. It also has easy trails that go to the slave housing, through the sugar cane, around the steam house, and down to the spring house. It was a great afternoon. Took a few hours to walk all of it. Oh and you can even launch your kayaks as well here.

We went to downtown Winter Garden today for a date lunch. This little area is super cute and rustic. There are lots of mom and pop places to eat and shop at. We got to see these really cool old vehicles by the museum. There are two museums you can do in this town but of course they are only open Thursday and Friday so we were not able to do them. We did go to Crookedcan Brewery and had some beer and tried the pizza from Michael’s Ali Pizza and sushi from Jodo Sushi . Both were really good. Definitely stop by this place when your in the

Went on a local 2mile hike Easter Sunday. It was a very easy scenic hike. There are lots of bricks though so watch your step. There was quite a few people on the trail with us. But over all this trail was a great afternoon out.

I swear no matter what we do she falls asleep 10mins in 😂 we had an awesome day today hiking through Wekiva Springs. We went just over 4 miles today! So sad that we have to go back home tomorrow but blessed that I get to spend time with family like this. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Got up early to check out the springs before it gets busy. So peaceful and beautiful. The water stays 72° year round. What an awesome way to spend our Saturday morning! ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
