Make Strides

Great experiences this weekend at PVDA Spring Dressage at Morven Park. We are feeling thankful for so many things- lovely horses, great facility and and a very organized show! Lindsey had awesome rides on all three horses- our sweet Fifi placed second in her 3.1 test, giving all she’s got- as always! Sir Supreme had beautiful parts to his 3.3 test both days, placing second with percentages in the high 60’s- Remy continues to impress us everyday in new ways!
And finally our newest addition Riccino blew our expectations out of the park this weekend winning his 3.3 test both days with almost 71% both times! Lindsey and Reno had the highest scoring 3rd level test this show sending them home with a pretty Tri-color! We learned so much this weekend under the brilliant guidance of , thank you so much Patrick for everything you do! On to the next one😎

Welcome to the family Remy! We are so excited to bring home our new ride, Sir Supreme. Watch for Lindsey and Sir Supreme this year in the Region 1 dressage scene and at AGDF 2023! Thank you so much of for the amazing representation of this fine animal. The sales process of this horse felt so comfortable and undeniable. Also a huge shout out to Patrick Tigchelaar for giving us outstanding guidance on the purchase of Remy- we can’t wait to get to work on him with you! Some coincidental matching calls for an impromptu photo shoot! Though we may not be in warm, sunny Florida for the season, we are still getting work done in the brisk Virginia weather! With our schoolmasters it’s important for us to be aware of how colder temps can affect them and their bodies. Yesterday we got an above 30* day and Fifi was feeling fancy! So grateful for the special girl🤩

Now what would this adventure be without some amazing equine partners? Nothing.

First let me introduce our 23 yr old schoolmaster, FiFi. She is an Oldenburg mare with lots of s***k, try, and heart. She has competed up to Intermediare II, and is willing to take Lindsey up the levels.

We can’t wait to go through the highs and lows with this kind girl and learn all she has to teach us!

Our dream is to 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙨 everyday with focus, dedication and teamwork, creating measurable progress towards an outrageous goal of growing from beginner to Grand Prix in just 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧.

You may be wondering- “𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙙𝙪𝙗𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙖𝙡 ?“

Well allow us to introduce ourselves:

The variable of this equation with their feet in the irons is Lindsey Welsh. Lindsey is a wife and mother of two, as well as a small business owner in Washington D.C.

The eyes on the ground and impeccably detailed trainer is Miss Lauren Dearlove. Lauren owns her own small breeding business as well. She manages running her own farm while traveling to us to help accomplish our dreams.

The glue to this gang? Well that would be me- Jessica Wazny. I’ve been the Head Groom at top hunter and jumper farms for the last 3 years. When motherhood came early for me 7 months ago I needed a lifestyle to support it. With my background in the western pleasure industry this journey with Lindsey and Lauren seemed like the perfect fit.
