📚✨ Harold made the cover of the MCCS yearbook! ✨📚

What an honor to be part of so many memories from the 2025–2026 school year. From field trips and science experiments to Book Buddies, Leo Night, and countless adventures, it's been a year to remember.

Happy last day of school! And a huge congratulations to our graduating 5th graders—we are so proud of you and all you've accomplished. ❤️

Harold is going to miss you... unless you're joining us for one more adventure this summer. 😉🚌☀️

Just a few weeks before summer camps begin, we got to put the bus supplies to good use for a special end-of-year STEAM challenge with Yellow House. 🦊

Students each received a miniature fox and were tasked with creating a ride or structure for their fox that included a moving part. They started with a plan, measured their designs, built prototypes, tested them, discovered problems, made adjustments, and tried again.

One of my favorite moments was watching students realize that their first idea wasn't always their best idea—and then seeing them revise, improve, and ultimately succeed.

There was cardboard everywhere, tape on everything, and some truly impressive fox engineering by the end of the day. 😊

Part of the magic of the bus is that it truly becomes their space. 💛🚌✨

Our campers don’t just ride the bus — they help shape the culture of it. They take ownership of the learning space, care for the materials, welcome new friends, and look out for one another.

This sweet note was left by a longtime camper who wanted to make sure our newest adventurers knew this little stuffed pup was part of our shared bus family too. 🐶🥹

“Please take care of this pup. Have a great day!” might just sum up the kind of community we hope to build every summer.

Learning is magical when kids feel like they belong. ✨

A few months ago, the Learning Adventure Bus was honored to receive a FinTastic Funding grant from Apple FCU 💛

They followed up to see how the funds were used—and to capture the impact. And the truth is… this was never just about funding.

It’s about every parent who trusted us with their child.

Every small business that welcomed us in.

Every kid who stepped onto the bus curious and left more confident.

This community made this possible.

Because of that support, we’ve been able to say yes to more kids—
more field trips, more hands-on learning, more meaningful experiences that actually stick.

One of the things I’m most proud of:

Because this kind of learning should be accessible.

🥧🍪 Day 5: Double Dessert Day

We wrapped up Foodies of Loudoun with the sweetest adventure—pie at Mom’s Apple Pie followed by cookies and a story at Round Hill Farm to Trail.

A cozy, delicious, and joy-filled way to celebrate a week of exploring, tasting, creating, and learning together.

A truly scrumptious ending to a learning-filled week 💛
