Wisconsin SkillsUSA & Partnerships awarded gold medals yesterday (silver and bronze too) to some of the brightest and talented young technicians you will find anywhere. We had a robust number of contestants in automotive, collision, diesel, and refinishing. In total, over 120 students. Every one of them are winners.

Our industry stepped up in a big way. Many of our partners not only donate their personnel, resources and expertise, but many also generously donate money. These donations make it possible for us to award scholarship packages and SkilksUSA national travel stipends valued at $25,650.

Thank you to all of our amazing participants and partners!

We are to say that the Automotive Service Excellence Foundation (ASE Certifications) has reaccredited six programs offered by our School of Engineering Technologies.

“Accreditation is a vital process to determine if academic programs are meeting the highest of quality standards established by industry professionals,” said Bradley Webb, dean of engineering technologies. “Having our programs reaccredited results from the outstanding curriculum, instruction and facilities we offer at Penn College. We are very proud to receive this mark of excellence. It is well-deserved.”

Associate degrees in automotive technology, automotive technology: Honda PACT, collision repair technology and diesel technology, as well as certificates in collision repair technician and automotive service technician received the coveted recognition.
