On July 1, 2025, it's a significant day for Dr. Rachel Black, a first-year General Surgery Resident, and Dr. Ben Murrell, stepping into his role as Chief Resident. Together, they embark on their first case, marking the beginning of a journey filled with learning and growth. Excited to contribute to the development of future surgeons, their passion for medicine shines through as they embrace the challenges and rewards of surgical practice. Here's to a promising start and the dedication to shaping the next generation of medical professionals.

Had a great time Today with the OR staff at Lees Summit Medical Center. Did the first Robotic Surgery inservice today. Great Staff, Great leadership too. Even our CEO, Gabe Clements, put on scrubs and joined us. Thanks to our Intuitive Reps and to Katie Vereen and Melanie Bach for setting this up.
