This incredible group kicked off the event last night with a tour of the new Unwind brick & mortar space. Come meet them Saturday at The Elms in Excelsior Springs during free & open marketplace hours from 2-5p!

Introducing Stonewater & Prairie, an Unwind yarn making its premiere in the Unwind 2026 marketplace!

Dyed in our new dye studio, our debut yarn is a super soft 3 ply fine merino sport weight, available in a saturated palette of locally inspired colorways. It would be amazing for Joji Locatellli’s new Botanist Shawl!

The Unwind 2026 marketplace will be free and open to the public on Saturday, June13th, from 2-5pm; make the trip to The Elms and squish these lovelies for yourself!

Main Street in front of our building is closed today and parking is limited due to Downtown Days in Lee's Summit, so we are closing the shop and taking a work day to get ready for Unwind 2026.

Speaking of...don't forget the Unwind 2026 marketplace will be free and open to the public on Saturday, June 13th, from 2-5pm!

We'll feature sneak peaks all week of some of the vendor highlights--including the debut of Unwind's very own hand-dyed yarn, Stonewater & Prairie! Stay tuned!

We are thrilled to co-host the Olga’s Jacket Knit Along with mYak Tibetan Fibers and Olga Putano, June 4th-August 14th, 2026!

(BTW, Tammy got to wear this jacket during mYak’s Venice retreat in April, she says it’s like wrapping up in a dreamy cocoon!)

mYak is officially hosting the Olga’s Jacket KAL through their Ravelry group; there you can get all the details, share progress photos, ask questions, connect with fellow knitters, and follow all updates and announcements throughout the event.
