The department will feature winning entries on its website, social media platforms and at various public events. Visit dnr.mo.gov for more information and to submit your photos. One hundred and thirty-six years ago, on April 24th, 1890, 63 women from 17 states across the country formally adopted the constitution of the newly-formed General Federation of Women’s Clubs.

Their commitment to each other paved the way for the immeasurable impact clubwomen have had on the world. Today, we celebrate the founding of the General Federation of Women's Clubs and the incredible members who dedicate their lives to serving others.
