I have been sitting here trying to find the words to pair with this image.... writing them out.... rewriting them. Deleting whole pages and starting over. All that remains is the lump in my throat.

This image was inspired by my life as a woman and a young single mother. I do not want to break down every detail for you. You can find the story, whatever it means to you.

Real talk. We all have those days.

The ones where you feel like a crap parent. There might be a reason you are missing the mark. You may have some BIG unmet needs that are preventing you from showing up as your best self. It’s a sign of a larger issue.

First step is acknowledging the problem. You need something important that you aren’t getting.
Second step is asking for help. Be kind. Be clear.
Third step is taking the help and caring for yourself. Putting yourself first in these ways is good for your whole family.
