Our Story
Pierson Phillips was brave, bold, giving, and kind. He was an advocate and public speaker who made a difference when it came to the subject of mental illness and su***de. Pierson spoke from his own personal experience and his insight was invaluable to those wanting to learn more about youth and su***de. Sadly, Pierson lost his battle at the age of 14.
The Pierson Project was started in order to continue his legacy of giving and educating by helping the youth of the Kansas City Metro area. To help end the stigma and shame that prevent too many from asking for help. To help provide support to those in need. And to help empower the youth who are our future. Because saving just one life is worth it, and everyone is worth saving.
