Our Story
Supporting Entrepreneurship in Lee’s Summit, MO, Velocity Lee's Summit is a nonprofit corporation passionate about startup business advocacy. We are proud of our partnership with the city of Lee’s Summit, aligned in supporting local entrepreneurs. We sponsor frequent events for fast-growing businesses, presenting entrepreneurial-themed content with mentoring, networking, and business expansion opportunities.
Our programs strive to connect peer business owners in a collaborative and synergistic setting by providing critical, relevant and timely information. Entrepreneurs have the opportunity to acquire the necessary tools for success. Our goal is to provide a supportive and resource rich business environment that encourages these rapidly growing companies to remain and invest in our community while providing high-paying jobs.
As the hub around which entrepreneurial activity rotates, we are a significant and frequent collaborative community partner.
