It’s been a magical and transformative summer so far hosting some amazing humans in our sanctuary 💚 We’ve met people spanning ages 3-83 visiting across 4 states, all traveling through their own unique wellness journeys. PSA from the herd 👉🏻Did you know donkeys need extra care when it comes to fly control? Summer bugs are not our favorite (ouch)! Not sure what we’d do without our protective socks, fly masks, and natural wound clay (a must for donkey care-givers dealing with seasonal fly issues)! 🪰🚫
🌿Natural wound clay recipe (small batch):
5oz Bentonite clay
5oz Apple cider vinegar
3oz witch hazel
20 drops Essential oils (citronella, peppermint, rosemary)
(Mix well, store in airtight jar. Adjust ratios and oils as necessary!)
