This summer we are excited to bring back Venture Out! This program ran for so many years and exposed kids to the outdoors in such an intentional way! This summer the Venture Out program seeks to bring campers closer to this ultimate goal of developing key leadership attributes through every mile hiked, paddle stroke traveled and deep conversation around the campfire. The wilderness is the great magnifier, revealing each person's greatest strengths and areas of growth. By pressing in and considering what is revealed in this space, one has the opportunity to experience unprecedented growth in their leadership capacity. After a year of planning we sent out a group on the Delaware River to introduce our Venture Out program. There were many steps to plan and prepare for. What we couldn’t plan for were the memories that were made, the friendships that were formed, and the experiences created! It was an AMAZING trip! Go ahead and take a look at some of the photos!

For more than 75 years, Kenbrook Bible Camp has been a spiritual light for children, youth, and adults, drawing people together like a campfire in the darkness. Each summer, campers grow in their walk with Christ, with some coming to know Him as Savior and others deepening their faith through daily time with God. That discipleship continues year-round through retreats that invite guests to step away, listen to the Spirit, and be renewed. Our prayer is that this year at Kenbrook, new fires are lit and familiar flames are stirred as we live as a new creation in Christ.
To kick off the summer camp season, Kenbrook supporters are invited to participate in a special 24-hour prayer event by signing up for a 30-minute time slot. Prayer topics will include summer camp, retreats and events, staff and leadership, finances, and future vision. A campfire will be burning at camp for those who wish to pray onsite, and those who cannot attend are encouraged to light a personal flame during their time of prayer.

A few weeks ago we held our annual Mother's Day Buffet. We were able to give moms the gift of quality time, great food, and a relaxing day surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation. We also want to thank our Food Service Director, Michelle, for all of her hard work and planning! We hope to have you here next year to enjoy good food and a beautiful space!
