🌿 ACNE FACE MAPPING: WHAT YOUR BREAKOUTS MAY BE TRYING TO TELL YOU 🌿
Did you know that where you break out can sometimes point to patterns in your lifestyle, habits, or overall wellness?
While face mapping isn't a medical diagnosis, many holistic practitioners use it as a tool to identify potential areas that may need extra attention.
✨ Forehead
Often associated with Bladder & Digestion Consitpation, irritable bowel syndrome, urinary tract infections
✨ Cheeks
Left cheek: Liver & Stomach
Right check: Lungs & Respiralory system
Exposure to pollution & smake, gum/ dental issucs and inflammation
Right check: Lungs & Respiralory system
Exposure to pollution & smake, gum/ dental issucs and inflammation
Sinuses & allergies, pollution & asthma
✨ Nose
Traditionally connected to digestion and cardiovascular health.
✨ Chin & Jawline
Eating too much fal & sugar, excessive caffeine & alcohol intake
(Acne in the middle of chin are assoclated with the digestive system & PMS / PCOS.)
✨ Neck /thyroid
Eating foods that don't agree with .you, disconnect from nature which can disturb hormone levels
💚 Remember: Acne is complex. Hormones, stress, diet, sleep, skincare products, genetics, and overall health can all play a role.
Instead of just treating the breakout, it can be helpful to ask:
🌿 Am I drinking enough water?
🌿 How is my stress level?
🌿 Am I getting enough sleep?
🌿 Have I changed any products recently?
🌿 Are there any foods that seem to trigger flare-ups?
👇 Where do you break out most often? Forehead, cheeks, chin, jawline, or somewhere else? Let's compare notes!
For proof, I face mapped myself during my pregnancy. I've been drinking a lot of Dr pepper which caused a bunch of break outs on my chin and jaw line. Here are the results
Happy Friday, friends.
As we head into the weekend, I just wanted to take a moment to encourage anyone who may be carrying a heavy burden right now.
Life isn't always easy. Some seasons seem to stretch on longer than we think we can handle. There are days when the weight of stress, grief, uncertainty, financial struggles, health concerns, relationship challenges, or simply the pressures of daily life can feel overwhelming. If that's where you are today, I want you to know that you're not alone.
One thing I've learned is that not every hardship is necessarily Yahweh's plan for our lives. We live in a broken world, and sometimes the enemy throws curveballs our way in an attempt to discourage us, distract us, or make us question our faith. Yet even in those moments, Yahweh remains faithful.
When I think about Job, I'm reminded that Yahweh allowed him to be tested. Job lost so much, endured incredible suffering, and faced questions that seemed impossible to answer. Yet through it all, his faith remained. His story teaches us that faith is not a transaction. We don't follow Yahweh only when life is easy or when things are going our way. We trust Him because He is good, even when we don't understand what we're walking through.
Sometimes the very thing you're facing right now may be a test of perseverance, faith, character, or trust. It may be preparing you for something greater than you can currently see. It may be strengthening muscles you didn't know you had. The pain you're experiencing today does not mean you've been forgotten. The silence does not mean Yahweh isn't working.
So if you're struggling, keep going.
If you're tired, rest, but don't quit.
If you're hurting, keep praying.
If you're discouraged, keep trusting.
And if all you can do today is take one small step forward, then take that step and thank Yahweh for helping you make it.
One day you'll look back and realize that the season you thought would break you was actually the season that built you.
This weekend, I encourage you to spend time in His presence. Lay your worries at His feet. Thank Him for the blessings you can see and for the ones you can't see yet. Thank Him for the growth that comes through trials and for the strength He provides when your own strength runs out.
I pray that you find peace in His presence, comfort in His promises, and hope for the days ahead.
No matter what you're facing right now, keep your eyes on Him. This season won't last forever, and you will make it through.
Have a blessed weekend, everyone. 🤍
