Sabbath rest is a gentle, weekly invitation to lay down what was never ours to carry in the first place. Juneteenth is a sacred celebration culturally and religiously. John Wesley was an ardent abolitionist, leading many enslaved people to follow the Methodist tradition. Celebratory events are growing, reminding us that freedom is for all of us and must never be withheld. 💛
