Midnight Smokers BBQ

What a great weekend cooking the Colorado BBQ Challenge. We were able to see a lot of bbq friends we have not seen in a few years. We were roughing it this weekend without our camper and just using an ezup tent and borrowing 1 home made can. Saturday morning the weather started off beautiful and then came the rain, sleet and then snow. It's never easy cooking at 9100ft even on a good day but we managed a pretty good cook at this altitude and we haven't cooked since March.

Chicken - 21st
Ribs - 35th (blaming it on the borrowed can :-))
Pork - 11th
Brisket - 7th
17th out of 42 teams

Way to go Bushmaster BBQ on the RGC at the American Royal!

I figured I would try the smoked cream cheese and it was well worth it. I put a little Meat Church BBQ Honey Bacon seasoning and some Smoking Guns Gun Powder on it and half covered it with habanero jelly. It turned out so good!

Set up for BBQ in Red Shoes charity event. This is a great event.
